Alpha Plus is a hybrid trance-gate synth.
It is the advanced version of the T-Force Alpha TS. It has all features of the Alpha TS with some more and some updated functions: new sythesis (Subtractive and additionally FM Synthesis), revised oscillators with some more functions and now with a separate noise oscillator, new Mod Envelopes and now with a new integrated Sidechain FX (e.g. for the typicyal sidechained pad sounds and/or pumping basses etc.).

- Synthesis: Subtractive/FM.
- 3 Multiwave Oscillators with voice control (adjustable from 1 to 8 voices per osc), adjustable stereo width and panning, with Sine, Saw, Ramp (reversed Saw), Triangle, Pulse (square with PWM) waveforms and retrigger option for each oscillator (with "retrigger off" the oscillator is in free running mode, the oscillator starts with random phase positions everytime played a note, with "retrigger on" the oscillator's phase starts from position 0 everytime played a note.
- 1 Noise Oscillator with adjustable stereo width and volume.
- 1 Resonance Four Pole State Variable Filter, switchable between Low Pass, High Pass, Bandpass and switchable 12/24 dB slope, Resonance can be driven up to self oscillation.
- 1 ADSR Filter Envelope.
- 1 ADSR Amp Envelope.
- 2 ADSR Mod Envelopes.
- 2 host syncable LFOs.
- Adjustable Drive function for Saturation/Distortion.
- 2 band Low Freq/High Freq Equalizer.
- Bitcrusher.
- Portamento.
- 32 step Envelope Controlled Trance Gate.
- Velocity control (on/off).
- Dual Delay, switchable between Stereo mode and Ping-pong mode (right and left channels have their own tempo settings).
- Stereo Reverb.
- Integrated Sidechain FX, optional with internal bpm synced triggering or external triggering via MIDI In (triggered by MIDI Note On, on MIDI channel 2).
- All functions fully automatable.

This is a fantastic plugin. The only thing I will say is that recently, I redid my production machine, and found that this plugin had been updated to 1.5.2, and anything made with T-Force Alpha Plus prior to version 1.5 no longer works. It may also just be a linux artifact, this, but if I change tabs and adjust any knob on a different tab than the home tab, it causes major UI glitches, but otherwise, an incredible plugin I've been using for years now. I figured I'd post this in case the dev reads it, for debugging purposes...

One of the better options out there. Very pretty GUI. Fairly user friendly but maybe too many options for me. I like it a lot but I also tend to go for really warm sounding synths. Given the choice between a preset on here and a similar preset on a more analog sounding synth I would probably go for the analog one 80% of the time.

I had same problem, but i fixed it. I'mm using lmms with vestige. While opened vestige click the wrench button, then you get a window of all the regultaor, now it works, you can create.

Pretty late, but if anyone still has the problem on fl studio all you need to do is tweak the wheel you want to automate, than to to tools/last tweaked/create automation clip.

Sounds fantastic! I'd just like to warn anybody who uses this not to overdo the reverb. The reverb this plugin comes with makes it sound AMAZING, but it'll mess up your mix if you use too much. Of course, that's your fault, not the plugin's fault. I really like this.

I use it in FL Studio 12 with almost no problems and it's great.
I known this thanks to YouTube, I saw a video showing this as the main instrument. Anyhow, I can't create automation clips for controls. I guess I have to map the desired control to a CC controller, but which? And then, how do I do automations? Thanks in advance for either.

P.S.: Note I know how to do automation in general, but in FL Studio there are so called "Automation Clips", which are horizontal curves (with interpolation) to edit the automation parameters along the track. I would like to know how to map internal Alpha Plus controller to these.

I use the last tweaked option under tools to create a automation clip. So what you do is you tweak the knob you want to automate then go to tools in the corner and then pick last tweaked. Then you have the option to create the automation clip for that last tweaked knob.

It works perfet with fl studio 11 though I use 64 bit version it works the only drawback is that it has only 27 presets.

I'm loving this Synth. I use it along-side Synthmaster and it's a progressive house/trance dream~ The only part that stills throws me off is the FM-ing, but that might be solved if I read the instructions. I would recommend anyone to download this.

Are you using fl studio? If so your are probably getting the plugin from the effects section of vst plugins not the generators. Hope this helps

If you downloaded a plugin and you transferred it into FL Studio (12 probably) it will show you multiple of the same plugins (the ones you can drag to the channel rack). A lot of times, the bottom one is the one that works. The other dragable links will most likely say 'sampler' and theres no sound or anything.

Did you rescanned your plugins in fl studio ??? if no then open fl studio, click OPTIONS from drop down menu, select Manage plugins. It will open a new window.. then click start scan, when done ...close it and check ur vst plugins in fl again... If it dont help ... try coping ur plugin dll in .../Imageline/flstudio/Plugins/vst, then rescan you plugins. Hope it will help :)

I love this synth and agree that it's not just good for being free-- it's up there at the commercial and pro level. Does anyone know if it's been abandoned? It would be great to have a 64 bit version and not have to run it in a wrapper.

Professional Quality. I have used this in my last few projects and it is the BEST trance synth out there. I cannot believe it is free. The SAW is Nasty and WIDE. The only thing bad is that you have to know how to program because the presets are horrible. It even has a built-in sidechain. The gate smacks and the filters drip. Go drop some tracks.
