A1StereoControl is a stereo wideness expander / limiter.
The integrated Safe Bass algorithm centers all bass frequencies below an adjustable value. This gives your tracks the solidity and definition you want while preserving maximum transpancy and sharpness.
Additionally A1StereoControl brings you the possibility to place your stereo signal inside the stereo field in a very intuitive way. The expert mode features different pan laws (0db, -3db, -6db), different pan curves (linear, logarithmic, sin/cos) as well as classic balance mode or dual panning.

- SAFE BASS algorithm centers all bass frequencies (BASS gets MONO).
- Linear phase (important for mastering).
- RESIZABLE GUI (fully vector-based, nice on 'retina' displays or even very small ones).
- No latency.
- Phase Flip (flips the whole input signal 180°).
- Swap L-R (swaps left and right input channel).
- Mono turns the input signal to mono, but panning is still possible.
- All parameters automatable.
- - 12 dB input and output gain.

Similar design to Waves S1 images, however THIS is the version Waves should of made. Love the different spacial imaging perspectives and the centered low mono.

Using on Equalizer APO, and just work perfectly. Create the expansion stereo effect, making the speakers sound more wide than they are. Thanks Alex

It doesn't work in Logic Pro X in a Mac. It seems a good Plug-in, but I cannot use it. Thanks anyway.

Easily as good as Waves S1 Imager, this plugin covers all the bases required to widen and position your sound. I've used it for years and it has never caused any issues.

I've used this plugin in every single track I've made within the past 4 years. Extremely useful. Even when turned up all the way, the stereo widening effect manages to keep the center intact so the track is still loud when played in mono. I also use the Safe Bass on every master. FANTASTIC PLUGIN!

I love this expander. It doesnรขโฌโขt make the stereo field sound stretched like Iรขโฌโขve heard in other plugins. It really feels like it opens up the mix and makes you feel like youรขโฌโขre sitting in a room with the sounds around you.. I recommend it.

This is a really great plug, sounds great and well thought out interface. However, it consumes way too much CPU. Most plugins of this nature consume maybe 1%, this one is consuming 5% on my system, even when nothing is playing. Developer needs to correct this if at all possible.

This is a really nice VST. It glitches out and doesn't work in LMMS, though I found a loophole that makes it work just fine with some tweaking. I really like using it to expand the stereo width, it sounds very nice.

It's a shame those ...bases, ...walks and ...tools with their mega$$$ soft have nothing close to this compact and extra versatile VST. This is a must for every serious DAW out there. Huge thanks!

If I had known it before, I would had never bought Waves S1. I literally love the Mute Mid and Mute Sides buttons. You won't find a better stereo expander for free!
