It's an alright plugin. It does crash my daw sometimes and its sort of laggy to load it up, but sound-wise it's a decent plugin. Plus this is one of the only free Synclavier plugins out there.

Not working properly for me. Only the 1st preset works for me on FL Studio 20. It does'nt recall the preset I created correctly. Despite all the negative, it sound pretty good.

I agree with IV as well as the GUI could be smaller and more stable. For the small amount of presets, it actually sounds pretty decent.

This is an amazing synthesizer! It could have been even more amazing if it hadn't been abandoned. The problem with a broken GUI can be solved by running the plugin from disk C, for me this is presumably due to the presence of non-English letters in the paths on disk D. Even one carrier with one modulator is capable of a lot, by layering four such sounds you can get a lot of fantastic sounds, including real ones. Of course, this is not a universal synthesizer, but this additive/FM synth gives you a touch of the synthesis power of the legendary Synclavier and is especially suitable for organs, EP and pads, as well as emulations of many acoustic instruments. I added some of my presets to the Syncla-X page on KVR.

Only noobs give plugins 1 or 2 stars (at best) because they don't have presets. Excellent software, despite the large GUI

This is a VERY fine synth! Although the GUI doesn't work for me [!!!], I can run it and experiment with it in Reaper, using Reaper's built in GUI for dealing with such problems. Don't give up: Look deeper!

g'day everyone! this has a lot of potential. Why did the developer (apparently a 17 year old Frenchman) abandon this?!?!? Has anyone found presets for this?

Tried installing the MS fix pack, but couldn't get this work. Crashed my DAW each time I scanned the vst folder. Crashed everything I tried to run. Hope it can be sorted, the Synclavier makes some strange and wonderful noises.
