FDNCymbal is a cymbal sound synthesizer.
It can also be used as an effect. Unlike the name, most of metallic texture comes from Schroeder allpass section rather than FDN (feedback delay network).
FDN section makes nice impact sound when FDN. Time is short. Tremolo is added to simulate wobbling of cymbal.

- Stick oscillator. Just some impulses and sine waves.
- FDN section makes stick sounds more plausible.
- Schroeder allpass section adds metallic texture to the signal.
- Tremolo can be used to simulate wobbling of cymbal.

Doesn't show up in Tracktion. Maybe it's not a compatible dll?

Got it to install. Used up loads of cpu and nearly crashed my DAW. Not a keeper.

Great job! Can get some interesting sounds that border between physical and synthetic

I love physical modelling and this has been really fun to play with. It sounds really good and quite unusual. Could get some nice psychedelic cymbal sounds out of this with and without added effects. Definitely useable.
