Use DC threshold knob. "Comp" for lower ratios, "limit" for higher ratios.

This compressor works perfectly on bass guitar. Set the ratio to about 4:1, set the release to 2 and adjust the threshold as needed. You get a very even bass sound but with enough attack so it doesn't sound flat . I love it :)

Sounds amazing especially for free! For those who are interested the GUI is (probably based on) Esoteric Audio Research (EAR) 660 comp/limiter amplifier which is an Fairchild emulation (from what I can remember)

This compressor plugin has a true glue compressor character. With 1 - 2 dB of gain reduction on the mixbus I get some very satisfying results. The color of the VariMoon really contributes to its purpose of glueing the mix together. A wonderful plugin! Well done AO!
