I was looking to emulate the NOFX Eric Melvin tone so I checked around for a free Muff emulation and this thing got me damn near right on the money running into a Recto sim

I put this before a marshall style amp sim and it’s hands down the best doom sounds I’ve ever gotten from VSTs. Highly recommended!

I use it before amps sim like Amplitube 4, Bias or Guitar rig. You should try it on bass

Amplitube5 has a big muff. It may be in the free version. At any rate it’s real good if you ever have a need to stay within the amplitube software.
