SIM-DIZI aims to synthesise the sound of a Chinese dizi flute which is a transverse blown bamboo flute with a buzzing membrane to create a brighter sound.
Like all SIM series, no samples are used, so you have control of many aspects of the timbre and behaviour. The presets show some other flute-like sounds you can make too.

My be intended as a Dizi emulation, but it is actually better than all the other flute VSTs I've tried.

I've never trusted fully synthesized instruments trying to imitate real instruments, but this is INCREDIBLE. The only thing missing here is making the type of ornaments interactive(like, switching between the ornaments via automation or CC). Apart from that, the sound is frankly beautiful, I'm putting this on the instrumental I'm producing right now, just blown my mind how good and flexible this is.
